Smart phones are becoming more vital in the work place, and for some, it can revolutionize how they do their job. In a recent Pew Internet Project report, they found that “82% of adults in America use their mobile handsets on a daily basis.” In total there are 86 million mobile internet users as of 2010, which is up 25% from 2009, according to a report done by CNet. This illustrates just how dependent we are on our phones and how important it is to have the right tools to help. Because people are using their phones to conduct business on a daily basis; we want to highlight some of the apps that can be the most helpful.

According to the NY Times, Evernote is in the “Top Ten Must-Have Apps”. Evernote has also won best mobile app from TechCrunch, Mashable, and Webbys according to Apple. This notable application takes notes to a whole new level. What is even more fantastic is that it is a free app for iPhones, Androids, and Blackberrys! Evernote lets you create notes of all kinds. You can take a picture, record your voice, or simply create a to-do list. If you are surfing online, and find something you like, you can easily clip it and have it added to your Evernotes. What makes this an all-star app, is that it automatically syncs up with your free Evernote account online. This means you can access you notes wherever you are from a computer or your smart phone.
